Video Surveillance

Based on open IP standards, network cameras connect to any kind of IP network, including the Internet, and enable remote viewing and recording from anywhere in the world. They also provide advanced video analytics features, such as motion detection, audio detection and tampering alarm.

Analog Conversion to IP

Looking to convert your existing analog video system to digital? We have done countless IP conversions using IP encoders. When we maximize the quality and frame rate using the latest in H.264 technology, there is no long a need to rip out all of your existing analog cameras.

The video surveillance market is growing constantly, driven by increased public and private security concerns, as well as a technology shift. The transition to network video is a reality as customers take advantage of flexible, industry standard systems for security and video surveillance. As security management over the IP network expands and intelligence capabilities move out to network cameras, systems can scale more easily. This move to open systems empowers a more productive and cost-effective means of surveillance than ever possible.

Superior image quality

Image quality is one of the most important features of any camera, if not the most important. Superior image quality enables the user to more closely follow details and changes in the images, making way for better and faster decisions to more effectively safeguard people and property. It also ensures greater accuracy for automated analysis and alarm tools. Axis network cameras provide high-quality video images, and megapixel and HDTV network cameras are available to provide even more image details.

Remote accessibility

With network video, users can access real-time video at any time from an authorized computer. Network video products provide an easy way to capture and distribute high quality video over any kind of IP network or the Internet. The video can be stored at remote locations for convenience and security, and the information can be transported over the LAN or Internet.

Easy, future-proof integration

There are almost no limitations as to where a network video product can be placed. Network video has the capacity to provide a high level of integration with other equipment and functions, making it a continually developing system. A fully integrated Axis network video system can be used for a multitude of applications simultaneously. These applications include access control, building management, point-of-sales systems, ATMs, as well as fire alarms, intruder and visitor management.

Scalability and flexibility

A network video system can be expanded by adding more network cameras. You can choose exactly what you need today, and scale the system at any time to meet your growing needs. New technologies, additional cameras, and extra storage capacity can all be easily added when required, thanks to strict adherence to industry standards.

Cost-effectiveness

Based on open standards, network video products run on IP networks. Using standard PC server hardware rather than proprietary equipment, such as DVRs, drastically reduces management and equipment costs, particularly for larger systems. Additional cost savings come from the infrastructure used. IP-based networks such as LANs and the Internet can be leveraged for other applications across the organization.

Distributed intelligence

These days, a massive amount video is being recorded, but never watched or reviewed due to lack of time. As a result, events and activities are missed, and suspicious behaviors remain unnoticed. With network video, intelligence has been brought into the camera itself. Network cameras can have built-in video motion detection and alarm management. With this system, the camera decides when to send video, at what frame rate and resolution, and when to alert a specific operator. Other unique features include audio detection and active tampering alarm.

Axis Q6035-E 2 Megapixel PTZ

For the highest video quality and performance, AXIS Q6035-E PTZ Dome Camera is the only choice. Designed for the most demanding applications, the outdoor-ready PTZ dome provides HDTV coverage of large areas, great details. This camera has the ability to zoom in, and comes with high-speed pan/tilt performance. It is ideal for city and perimeter surveillance, as well as at airports and seaports.

Ultimate video quality

The HDTV 1080p complies with the SMPTE 274M standard regarding a 1920×1080 pixel resolution (twice the resolution of HDTV 720p), full frame rate at 25/30 frames per second, HDTV color fidelity and a 16:9 format. AXIS Q6035-E also supports 50/60 frames per second in HDTV 720p, ideal for applications that require the capture of quick movements and smoother video.

Reliable operation in extreme climates

AXIS Q6035-E is IP66- and NEMA 4X-rated and requires no external housing, which minimizes installation mistakes. Its unique Arctic Temperature Control ensures camera start-up, even at -40 °C (-40 °F).

Extreme detail

Due to the HDTV 1080p resolution, the camera’s 20x optical zoom with autofocus provides extremely detailed zoomed-in views that are comparable to a 4CIF-resolution camera with more than twice the optical zoom. AXIS Q6035-E supports day/night functionality for clear video even in low light conditions, and wide dynamic range for better visibility of objects in dark and light areas of a scene.

Power over Ethernet for easy installation

Support for High Power over Ethernet (High PoE) simplifies installation since only one cable is required for power, video and PTZ controls.

High Res Images to Boston Police

Sunday December 22nd 2013, Platinum Protection Systems responded to a customers call for help, who procalimed that they had just been robbed by two armed men. We were instantly able to provide high resolution stills and video to Boston Police. All of this was made possible by the detailed images we drew from recently installed Arecont Vision 20MP Panoramic Cameras. Three cameras mounted on the exterior of the building were able to track suspects casing the store, and then finally commiting the robbery. The three cameras were able to capture three sides of the building allowing police to track the subjects entry into the property and where they fled the crime. Boston Police said that during the string of robberies from the two subjects, this was the most detailed video they had received. Both suspects have been captured due to video provided.
